Typical activities in this phase include: - analysing the intended application and real-world use context - assessing technical feasibility and sensing principles - defining system-level architectures and trade-offs - identifying regulatory and certification implications early - determining realistic development paths beyond feasibility This ensures that feasibility work does not end as a disconnected prototype, but forms a credible foundation for further development. Collaborative Research & Joint Development Many concept and feasibility projects take place in collaborative research settings , involving multiple stakeholders such as universities, hospitals, industrial partners and public funding bodies. 2M Engineering regularly participates as a technical development partner in joint research and innovation projects, including national and European programmes. In these collaborations, we focus on: - translating research objectives into system concepts - ensuring technical coherence across consortium partners - aligning research outcomes with product and regulatory realities - preparing concepts for continuation beyond the research phase Our experience in both research and product development helps bridge the gap between academic results and real-world application.
