About this role
Experian is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to test and maintain core enterprise systems while providing technical leadership across distributed teams in the United States and India. You will blend manual and automated test creation with operational ownership, helping engineering teams deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software.
You will report to the QA Manager.
Primary responsibilities include:
Develop automated test harnesses and libraries for UI/APIYou will create test scripts from smoke, regression, and functional test plansEnsure that tests function well across all supported browsers and platformsIntegrate test scripts with frameworks such as Jenkins/Travis CIYou will manage inbound test requests, estimating time needed and working with other team members to set prioritiesCommunicate test results and highlight any potential quality risksAssist other software engineers in writing tests. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the field.5+ years of experience in testing software and maintaining test automationCoding experience with .Net, Java and querying on SQL.Experience developing automation frameworks with Ruby/Java/Python/Selenium with SQL/PostgreSQLExperience with RESTful API development or testingExperienced working both independently and on several teamsKnowledge of Unix, SQL, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, and source control Git/TFS/SVNDemonstrated skill in testing Enterprise applicationsExperience integrating test harnesses and test results into continuous integration and build environmentsFamiliarity with iOS or Android development is beneficialExperience with Jmeter/Soasta/Load Runner performance test tool is also is beneficialMS in Computer Science or technology-related is beneficial Our benefits include: Medical, life and dental insurance, Asociación Solidarista, International Share Save Plan, Flex Work/Work from home, Paid time off, Birthday day off, Annual Performance Bonus, Education Reimbursement, Family Bonding, Bereavement Leave, Referral Program, and more.
