Grade Scale: Up to M3 Location: Karachi Required Experience Minimum ten (10) years of relevant banking experience across Corporate, Commercial, SME, and FI segments. Strong background in business development, transaction management, credit analysis, and structuring. Proven experience in strategy formulation and execution, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management. Exposure to ECA‑supported transactions, and Export Credit Insurance. Solid understanding of Export Finance Schemes(EFS) including SBP refinance programmes and export‑oriented credit facilities. Experience in international trade, trade finance, lending, and preferably credit insurance. Demonstrated leadership with experience in team management, coaching, and talent development. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage regional teams to achieve business targets and advance Pak EXIM’s mandate. Identify market opportunities through research and analysis, providing actionable insights to senior management. Manage and grow a portfolio of Corporate, Commercial, SME, and FI clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and transaction execution. Promote Pak EXIM’s Credit Insurance, Guarantees, Lending products, and Export Finance Schemes in line with strategy, risk appetite, and capital allocation. Develop new business, strengthen client and FI relationships, and lead due diligence, risk assessments, financial modeling, and trade finance structuring. Aligning regional operations with strategic goals, expanding engagement with Corporate, SME, and FI partners. Build relationships with trade bodies, exporters’ associations, and chambers to identify export challenges and promote Pak EXIM’s solutions. Apply strong financial analysis, forecasting, and business development skills to support product and credit decisions. Utilize experience in trade finance, international trade, ECA‑related transactions, and export‑oriented financing structures. Develop, mentor, and coach regional talent fostering a high‑performance culture. Ensure effective coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and results orientation as part of Pak EXIM’s foundational leadership team. Any other task assigned by line management CORE COMPETENCE: Strong capability in New Product Due Diligence, including assessing market needs, evaluating risks, analyzing financial and regulatory implications, and supporting the development and rollout of new trade finance, credit insurance, and export‑related products in alignment with Pak EXIM’s mandate. Deep understanding of the Trade Finance landscape and SBP Prudential Regulations, Export Finance Schemes (EFS), and Credit Insurance frameworks. Strong market relationships within Corporate, SME, and FI segments. Advanced analytical capability, including financial modeling and complex assessments. Strong relationship‑building and networking skills across Corporate, SME, and FI clients. Ability to work independently, set direction, and deliver in challenging/evolving environments. Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset. Excellent understanding of trade‑related insurance and lending products including funded and non‑funded export credit solutions. Experience preparing industry reports, information memorandums, financing programmes, and structured trade solutions; exposure to Credit Risk participation and On‑Lending structures is a plus. Proven track record of Strategy Formulation & Execution in the related discipline. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Good computer literacy and inclination towards automation Qualification: Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration or other Business-related fields from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission(H.E.C.). Qualifications like CFA, FRM will be an asset.
