Job Scale: Up to M6 Location Islamabad Required Experience: Minimum of 3 (three) years’ professional experience. Preference will be given to candidates having experience with financial institutions. Job Description: Key Responsibilities • Ensure completeness and correctness of closing adjusting entries in Oracle financial. • Posting of any adjusting or periodical adjusting entries. • Reconciliation of Investment Portfolio of the bank. • Ensure Bank Reconciliation of the all the Bank Accounts. • Ensure proper accounting, taxation, reconciliations and other accounting matters in day-to-day operations of the Bank. Knowledge of insurance accounting and relevant IFRS etc. • Prepare information for the Statutory reporting to the State Bank of Pakistan and ensure that all returns are submitted in timely manner. • Maintenance of records as per regulatory & Bank's requirements. • Liaise with other departments for statutory disclosures as required by SBP and prepare information desired by various departments. • Assist in the day-to-day accounting/reporting function. Executing any other duties as and when required by the Line Manager. CORE COMPETENCE: • Knowledge of accounting standards, reporting frameworks, tax laws, regulatory and statutory requirements. • Proficiency in MS Excel. • Prior knowledge of SBP regulatory reporting shall be an added advantage. • Exposure of working with ERP Oracles. • Good computer literacy and inclination towards automation. • Excellent team player. Able to take up challenges. • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset. • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and Urdu Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from a leading local or international university recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
