About this role
The Director Human Resources & Administration leads NITB's human resource management and administrative services, ensuring effective talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, and efficient administrative and facilities operations in support of NITB's mandate. Qualification: Minimum sixteen (16) years of education with Professional certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, CHRP, or equivalent will be preferred. Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in HR and administration, with at least 3-4 years in a senior role. Demonstrated experience in organizational restructuring, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, policy development, and organizational development. Experience in MNC especially in IT/Telecom will be preferred. Exposure to procurement support, contract administration, vendor coordination, and project or program management will be considered an added advantage. Duties and Responsibilities • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of NITB's human resource and administrative strategies in alignment with organizational objectives and workforce requirements. • Direct organizational development initiatives, including training needs assessments, learning and development programs, leadership development, and institutional capacity-building to strengthen organizational capability. • Oversee administrative services, facilities, office services, and inventory management. • Oversee administrative support for procurement activities, including coordination of contract documentation, vendor records, and related administrative processes. • Develop and implement HR and administrative policies and service standards. Promote the use of HR analytics, workforce metrics, and data-driven decision-making to enhance organizational effectiveness and human capital management. • Supervise the Joint Directors responsible for Human Resources and Administration, ensuring effective performance management, resource planning, and professional development of their respective teams. • Present periodic reports on human resources, administration, workforce planning, organizational development, and administrative performance to the Director General. • Foster a high-performance organization culture by promoting employee engagement, ethical practices, continuous improvement, and organizational excellence.
