Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for someone with IT helpdesk and end-user support experience.We need strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including user and license management, SharePoint, and Exchange.We require experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, including Intune, Autopilot deployments, and Entra, with knowledge of apps, security, governance, MFA, and Conditional Access.We need experience with Windows Server, server hardware, Active Directory, and Hyper-V.We require familiarity with firewall configuration fundamentals.We need experience with backup methodologies and backup management.It is desirable to have networking knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, subnetting, and VLANs.It is desirable to have knowledge of Cyber Essentials certification, process, and implementation.It is desirable to have experience with cloud-delivered VoIP systems such as Teams Voice.It is desirable to have SQL Server experience.It is desirable to have experience with Veeam or backup technologies in general. Responsibilities: We will need you to support project tasks that improve and support our IT estate.We will need you to take part in change management activities to ensure services are delivered in a coordinated and supported manner.We will need you to assist our IT support team with escalations related to IT systems outside their remit.We will need you to produce documentation to support and improve team workflows and wider company processes.We will need you to support starter, mover, and leaver activities, including device and account provision.We will need you to monitor and maintain our infrastructure and carry out regular patching and upgrade activities.We will need you to identify areas and processes that can be automated and streamlined.We will need you to monitor and respond to security incidents, including remediation and continuous improvement.We will need you to analyse our existing infrastructure and suggest or research improvements aligned with our cloud-first strategy.We will need you to help modernise how IT services are delivered and supported. We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our small IT team in Tiverton, Devon. This is a site-based role with some hybrid working available after probation and for project-based work. We are modernising our IT estate, transitioning to new workplace technologies and a cloud-led future, and this role will play a key part in shaping that journey. The position offers a competitive salary, a benefits package including pension and healthcare cashback schemes, 25 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays, and free on-site parking. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, with occasional flexibility for work outside core hours and some travel to UK and European branch sites.
