Salary: £27,000 - 32,000 per year
Requirements: A recent degree (BSc or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, or a related technical discipline.A fundamental understanding of core IT concepts, such as basic networking, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure.A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.A strong passion for technology and a self-motivated drive to learn new systems and earn professional certifications.Previous customer-facing work experience, such as retail or hospitality, is a bonus and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for IT queries and accurately log tickets via the IT Service Management system.Provide initial 1st-line troubleshooting for Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, and bespoke business applications.Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new user hardware, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.Manage user access, onboarding, and offboarding through Active Directory.Help maintain clear and accurate IT documentation and asset registers.Shadow 2nd and 3rd-line engineers on complex technical issues and infrastructure upgrades.
