Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: We need strong experience with C/C++ in embedded systems, including multithreading.We need extensive knowledge of digital multimedia, including network streaming.We need proficiency in embedded Linux, particularly using OpenEmbedded / Yocto.We need demonstrable experience shipping production-grade software.We need strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.It is desirable to have experience with open-source audio/video frameworks such as ffmpeg, gstreamer, or mpv.It is desirable to have familiarity with OpenGL and graphics development. Responsibilities: We design, develop, and debug multimedia features including audio, video, and streaming for embedded Linux platforms.We evaluate new hardware platforms and provide technical input on architecture and design.We collaborate across teams, including support and sales engineering, to resolve technical challenges.We contribute to the delivery of new product developments as part of an agile, growing team.
