Salary: £26,000 - 31,200 per year
Requirements
- Strong commercial Python development experience
- Desktop GUI development experience with PyQt, PySide, Tkinter, or wxPython
- Windows desktop application development experience
- Experience with hardware interfaces, including serial and UDP networking
- Automated testing experience with pytest and test-driven development
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and existing codebases
- Experience testing software against physical hardware
- Desirable: experience in robotics, manufacturing automation, or surgical systems
- Desirable: experience with medical devices or other regulated industries
- Desirable: safety-critical software development experience
- Desirable: knowledge of ISO 13485 or IEC 62304
- Desirable: experience with test protocols, technical documentation, and release management
