Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: Proven experience in a Data Architect, Data Solutions Architect, or similar role.Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.Good understanding of Google BigQuery and modern data platform technologies.Expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, and large-scale data platforms.Strong knowledge of Data Mesh, database design, and ETL/ELT methodologies.Experience designing scalable, secure, and governed data solutions.Understanding of data security, compliance, and GDPR requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience mentoring and supporting technical teams. Responsibilities: Design and oversee the architecture of modern cloud-based data platforms.Develop architectural documentation, technical designs, and standards.Champion Data Mesh and Data-as-a-Product principles across development teams.Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and services to support platform growth.Establish and maintain architectural best practices and governance frameworks.Design secure, scalable, and high-performing data solutions.Create robust data pipelines supporting batch, event-driven, and streaming workloads.Ensure data products are discoverable, trustworthy, and interoperable.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and analysts.Collaborate with stakeholders to shape data strategy, roadmaps, and future capabilities.
