Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Porter Valet, you’re not just assisting guests with transporting and storing luggage – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Shift Pattern: Varied (Union role) – AM PM Overnight. Open availability required includes weekdays, weeknights, overnight, weekends and holidays; shifts will be dependent on business levels and seniority scheduling. Ideal candidate: Ability to provide flexible scheduling including weekdays, weeknights, overnights, weekends and holidays. Able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles. Valid driver's license and good driver's abstract required.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Welcome and assist guests: Greet and escort arriving and departing guests, transport luggage, and familiarize guests with their rooms and amenities • Handle luggage with care: Retrieve, transport, organize, and store guest luggage in accordance with hotel standards and procedures • Assist with guest transport: Operate property vehicles to transport guests to and from designated destinations • Maintain equipment standards: Keep bell carts and work areas clean and in good working order
