Division R&D Department Dominar & Pulsar Level Specialist Functional Area Transmission & Crankcase Design 1 Job Title Specialist 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : LX 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Essential: Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engg. from reputed Polytechnic/ Institute Minimum 60 % marks Should have been consistent & secured good percentage throughout academics (SSC, HSC (if appeared) etc) ii) Experience Minimum: 5 Year(s) Maximum: 12 Year(s) iii) Age Limit Minimum: Year(s) Maximum: Year(s) 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: Designing / Modelling of engine parts like crankcase, covers, gears, forks, shafts, clutch, and levers, etc. Ability to build models with relevant manufacturing methodology, Peripheral constraints. Knowledge of Engine to Vehicle Interface w.r.t. Transmission, Crankcase, Lubrication, Cooling and Sealing systems Parts Knowledge of Forged, Casted and Sheet Metal Modelling. Basic know-how about Design Guidelines, DFMEA, DVP, Quality documents. Technical/ Functional: Knowledge UG Nx – 3D Modelling, Surface modeling, Assembly, Drafting Basic Knowledge of Team Center Basic knowledge of GD & T, DFS, DMU, DFM, Basic Quality standard Creativity Good communication skill 5 Competency Requirements Behavioral Initiative, Desire to Learn Positive Attitude Effective team player Proactive and Good interpersonal skills Flexibility to work Specific expertise required for functional area : UG Nx Team center Engineering or PLM system Exposure to Quality/design standards/documents 6 Likely sources OEMs – Tata Motors, M&M, HERO, HMSI Service Industry – Tier1 suppliers –
