Division R&D Department T&V Level Specialist Functional Area 3W-DMU 1 Job Title Specialist DMU – 3W CV 2 Reporting Functional reporting : L3 (As per organizational structure) 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Essential: Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile engineering from a reputed institution ii) Experience Minimum: 8 Maximum: 14 iii) Age Limit Minimum: 29 Maximum: 36 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: The DMU Specialist will be responsible for executing vehicle level virtual checks for 3&4W commercial vehicles Responsibilities: Handling DMU of 3W ICE and EV vehicles Evaluate DFA/DFS issues on vehicles received from manufacturing plant in each phase and suggest countermeasures Own issues and follow up for countermeasures from Design/VI Proto assembly and part development support 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: Basic 3W knowledge Ability to understand Product Architecture Knowledge of basic engineering design concept Visualize how parts fit and assemble Ability to foresee assembly & serviceability issues Performing clearance and interference checks Conducting ergonomics analysis Running assembly simulations Behavioral Analytical ability, Problem solving and Decision-making skills Soft spoken, Confident and Assertive Initiative, Desire to Learn Positive attitude towards work Ability to work in a team Specific expertise required for functional areas: 3W assembly knowledge Essential: Software knowledge - UG-NX, Teamcentre Vis Mockup, Process Simulate, IC.IDO, Jack 6 Likely sources OEMs – Tata Motors, M&M, TVS, Piaggio, etc.
