Division R&D Department Test and Validation Level EX Functional Area CAE-CFD 1 Job Title CFD Engineer 2 Reporting Functional reporting to LX 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Essential: B.Tech/BE from NIT/IIT Optional: M.Tech/ME/M.S from IIT/IISC ii) Experience Minimum: 3 Maximum: 5 iii) Age Limit Minimum: 25 Maximum: 30 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: CFD Engineer Technical/ Functional: The Simulation Engineer will be responsible for developing and validating 1D engine system-level models to predict engine performance, intake and exhaust acoustics characteristics and support their optimization. The role also requires experience in intake and exhaust port flow analysis, uniformity index evaluation, Drive cycle simulation and combustion simulation Should be able to seamlessly integrate between test and simulation, collaborate effectively with teams, take initiative, guide others and adapt to new tools and technologies. 5 Competency Requirements Behavioral: Strong ownership and solution-focused thinking Proactive and self-driven mindset Clear and structured communication Collaborative and team-oriented approach High integrity and professional ethics Adaptability and learning agility Specific expertise required for functional area: Technical/ Functional Competencies:-Knowledge of software like GT-Power (Must), Python and AMESim.
