Division Department ENGINEERING (MTD) Level / Grade L3 Functional Area ASSEMBLY 1 Job Title Machine Assembly, tryout & Commissioning ( Mechanical) 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : Divisional Manager. ( MTD-R) 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Desirable: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics ii) Experience Minimum: 6 Maximum: 10 iii) Age Limit Minimum: 28 Maximum: 35 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: Machine Tool Assembly / Product Development. Responsibilities: Machine assembly , commissioning and warranty service. Machine parts & Assembly Drawing study and preparation for assembly, tryouts, DOE’s, Customer trials, dispatches & commissioning. Prepare GI test charts /Assembly check lists /SOPs asper ISO standards for equipment assembly & validation. CNC Part Programming. Robot part programming. Explore/Adopt emerging technologies. Industry 4.0 mc readiness. Man-less equipment integration. Kaizens for quantum PQCD improvements in equipment. Coordination/communication / Feedbacks with CFT stakeholders. Coordination/communication with Vendors / suppliers. Working knowledge & Adherence to systems: TPM, OSHAS,QMS Data analysis of problem issues, decision making & execution at assembly & customer end. Foster & develop Right first time culture. Enhance team work with technical /skill improvements & knowledge sharing. Manpower Handling, Work scheduling & Planning with focus on proactive initiatives to reduce project execution lead time. Initiatives for equipment Right sizing & assembly cost reduction. Awareness & keen eye for Green & Energy saving initiatives. Customer support online/at site & warranty service support. 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: 2D/3D drawings, functional knowledge of equipment sub-assemblies, functional knowledge of various systems like hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication and coolant. Very good hands on experience on Mitsubishi ,Siemens & Fanuc CNC part programming , Fanuc /Yashkawa /ABB Robot part programming. Good Working Knowledge of process Capability evaluation systems ( SQC) Good working knowledge of Cutting tools, Tool holding & Cutting parameters for various machining & cutting operations. Working knowledge of all measuring instruments & gauging systems. Knowledge of machine, process safety & legal requirements. Awareness of standards, specifications & ratings of electrical elements in equipment, Basic electrical circuits & fault finding. Working knowledge TPM , OHSAS and QMS system application. Interest in adopting implementing new technology & learnings. Work Experience of various types of cutting & process equipment. Soft Skill set: MS Office , SAP, Team Centre, Auto CAD Behavioral Effective communication with team, Customers, vendors and seniors. Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment at workplace/on duty.
