Career Stream Strategic Research and Analysis Leadership Pipeline Manage Self: Professional Job Purpose To aid Nedbank CIB in understanding it’s data through business intelligence tools, data analysis & story-telling and strategic initiative setting Job Responsibilities • Develop, maintain and refine monthly dashboards (Excel, Power BI and other) • Understanding, interpreting and presenting of financial, client and other data • Consolidate, analyse, interpret and provide high quality business intelligence and analysis • Use AI on a daily basis to improve efficiencies and help with innovation • Aid CIB in its adoption of AI through use case identification and agent build • Support stakeholders with data, insights, query resolution and ad hoc analysis of data (financial, risk and pipeline metrics) • Produce targeted reports and presentations that summarise findings and recommendations in order to inform stakeholder decision-making • Train stakeholders on how to use business intelligence tools to aid in their decision making • Deliver key insights that support strategic decision-making by responding timeously and professionally to a variety of adhoc business requests. • Research and analyse queries by consulting with different stakeholders across Nedbank to deliver timeous and accurate resolutions. • Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and add value to CIB • Building trusting relationships with stakeholders • Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management • Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within the specified timeframe Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree Preferred Qualification CFA / FRM Type of Exposure Working with a group to identify solutions to a problem Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Answering stakeholder questions Communicating complex information Identifying trends Analysing data that requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors Brainstorming ways of improving processes and analytics Minimum Experience Level 1-3 years' experience in a financial/analytical role Technical / Professional Knowledge Business writing Change management Data analysis Governance, Risk and Controls Industry trends Principles of financial management Principles of project management Relevant regulatory knowledge Decision-making process base II Behavioural Competencies Adaptability Building Customer Loyalty Communication Initiating Action Work Standards Managing Work Employment Equity Statement Preference will be given to individuals from underrepresented groups. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please contact the Nedbank Recruiting Team at +27 860 555 566
