We are seeking an experienced *Real Estate Law Clerk* to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to finish while delivering exceptional client service.
We are looking for a *long-term team member* who is interested in growing with the firm. This is a *full-time, in-office position* with opportunities for professional development and career growth.
Responsibilities
* Independently manage residential and commercial real estate purchase, sale, mortgage, refinance, and private mortgage transactions. * Complete a minimum of *15 real estate closings per month*. * Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, realtors, and other parties involved in each transaction. * Prepare and review legal documents while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. * Manage multiple files simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. * Work collaboratively with the legal team while also being capable of working independently.
Qualifications
* Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma (or equivalent). * Minimum *2 years of experience* handling real estate transactions, including private mortgage lending transactions. * Proficiency with *Unity, Teraview, Microsoft Office, and WordPerfect*. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. * Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a high-volume practice. * A reliable vehicle is preferred.
