Job Description: Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all areas are hygienic, well-maintained, and visually appealing for staff, visitors, and clients alike. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks to keep our spaces in top condition. Duties and Responsibilities: Trash Removal — Empty all trash receptacles and transport waste to the dumpster; replace liners as needed. Carpet & Rug Care — Vacuum all carpeted areas and entryway rugs; spot‑clean stains as necessary. Surface Cleaning — Clean, wipe, and disinfect desks, counters, tables, and other surfaces. Restroom Sanitation — Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and partitions. Breakroom Cleaning — Clean and sanitize breakrooms, including appliances, countertops, tables, and sinks. Supply Replenishment — Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other consumables in restrooms and kitchens. General Facility Cleaning — Perform thorough cleaning of offices, hallways, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate tools and equipment. Floor Care — Sweep, mop, and vacuum Chemical Handling — Use approved cleaning chemicals and solutions according to safety guidelines. High‑Touch Disinfection — Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces including phones, door handles, and shared equipment. Glass & Mirror Cleaning — Spot‑clean interior glass, mirrors, and doors to remove smudges and fingerprints. Wall & Vertical Surface Cleaning — Remove marks, smudges, and fingerprints from walls, doors, and other vertical surfaces. Maintenance Reporting — Report mechanical failures, safety hazards, or building damage to maintenance personnel promptly. Required Skills and Abilities: High school graduate Attention to Detail: Ability to identify areas needing cleaning Time Management: Ability to complete tasks efficiently within assigned timeframes Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30lbs Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks. Work Environment: Office and industrial/warehouse setting
