Job summary
An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed lead clinician in the Adult Audiology team at LNWUH Audiology department.
This secondment is to lead on an innovative way to deliver Audiology service within the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), located at Ealing Hospital.
Within this role there will be opportunity to be involved in microsuction and tinnitus area of Audiology.
The successful candidates will be expected to have a high level of clinical expertise and the interpersonal skills, compassion and sensitivity to build positive and trusting relationship with patients, families, carers and multiple stakeholders.
You will be expected to work closely with the whole Audiology and ENT team, supporting development and assisting the Head of Audiology and other team leads in meeting the department goals.
Main duties of the job
To monitor the DM01 position of the service and ensure that the Head of Audiology is Kept aware of potential threats, together with suggestions for remedial actions when needed.
To continually monitor clinical pathways to ensure lean working with efficient use of resources.
To monitor the CDC Pilot budget to ensure that income and expenditure balance and that procurement lies within fiscal boundaries.
