An opportunity has arisen within The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre for an accomplished Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive, high level PA/secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer. You will provide vital support to the executive directors in their roles and it is essential that you have a passion for providing exceptional administrative support, be proactive, accountable and self-motivated. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and have a positive approach with the ability to work collaboratively.
Extensive experience of working within the NHS or related healthcare experience in addition to experience in a senior secretarial position is required.
As per the Trust's policy the post holder will be required to be present on site for a minimum of 4 days per week.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a highly confidential, professional and comprehensive Personal Assistant service to the Executive Directors in particular the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer. The post holder will be capable of working to schedules and using their own initiative, whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
The post holder will support the Office Manager to maintain an efficient and effective Executive secretariat service.
The post holder will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be capable of working effectively under pressure. The post holder will have excellent secretarial skills and a high-level working knowledge of Windows-based systems.
