Job summary
Including the current post, the team will consist of 4 senior paediatric audiologists, 2 are full time and the 3rd will be job-sharing with the current vacant post. The team is small and friendly, offering assessment, diagnosis, habilitation and rehabilitation of children in the Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital catchment area.
The team also consists of a Band 6 paediatric audiologist and 2 assistant audiologists sharing one full-time post, in addition there are 2 part time administrative staff.
The team offers a nurturing environment, where you will feel valued by your colleagues and patients, while making a difference to children's lives. In addition to shared clinical and line management responsibilities, you will also take on shared audit activity leadership and shared Departmental Equipment Controller responsibility for the team.
Main duties of the job
This position involves the assessment, diagnosis, habilitation and rehabilitation of children referred to our service.
You will be responsible for a broad range of clinical activities; the majority of which are complex and demand a high degree of individual responsibility.
You will also be involved in teaching & training, clinical & administrative audits and research. The post-holder will be expected to always maintain high clinical and professional standards. They will also be involved in service development and will be expected to be adaptive to change.

MSc Audiology or BSc Audiology AHCS / HPC registration CPD portfolio Experience in the field of Paediatric Audiology Experience in using Patient Management System (e.g. Audit Base) Experience with ABR diagnostic assessments Familiar with Eclipse unit for ABR

Member of BAA / BSA ERA Consultancy accredited ABR reviewer Computer skills e.g. word processing, Excel
