Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Rotational MSK Physiotherapist within The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Rotations include Outpatient MSK covering Lower Limb, Upper Limb & Spinal, Hand Therapy and Elective Orthopaedics.
This role is a fixed term position working 22.5 hours per week based on the Mount Vernon Hospital Site / Hillingdon site if required

Main duties of the job
To provide specialised assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and to provide expert advice, guidance and information to patients, health and social care professionals, carers and relatives, and other non-professional
To participate in the Band 6 rotational scheme which may involve working across the Trust, in a range of outpatient departments as well as orthopaedic wards.

Person Spec Essential
Degree or Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy Health Professional Council Registration Clinical experience in NHS or similar health service across a range of settings Evidence of CPD of expanded specialised skills. Understanding of professional standards of practice - national and local Understanding of clinical governance and implications for the service Evidence of post-graduate courses in relevant field good written and spoken English
Desirable
Membership of a professional network, National or Regional Network Member of the CSP Attendance at Clinical Educators Course Experience of supervision and education of less experienced staff, students or assistants Experience of running / participating in audit and projects
