About this role

Duties and responsibilities:

•Provide front desk and general administrative support to ensure the efficient daily operation of the Executive Office. •Welcome visitors, respond to general inquiries, and appropriately route incoming calls, emails, mail, and requests. •Assist with meeting preparation, calendar coordination, and follow-up on administrative tasks. •Support the preparation, organization, filing, and maintenance of office documents, records, and other administrative materials. •Assist with the coordination of meetings, campus visits, events, and other Executive Office activities, as needed. •Support office operations, including supply management, inventory tracking, mail distribution, and maintaining a professional and organized office environment. •Gain hands-on experience in university administration, professional communication, executive office operations, and event and visitor coordination. •Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Work Hours per student: 15 hours/week during semester session. Seeking 2 student(s).

Students must meet the following requirements: 1) Must have completed at least one semester at Mason Korea and have an official GPA record. 2) Be in good academic standing (Cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher; or as required by the office). 3) Have enrolled as FT student in current semester. When working during the break, have completed enrollment in the upcoming semester.

A note on break housing: •If applicable, selected work study students may apply for break IGC housing by May 12. •UL does not guarantee housing during the summer & winter breaks for the work & study program students who apply for the housing. •Work & Study students can reach out to UL Housing Staff or IGC housing office directly if they would like to receive more information about break housing. •The break housing is usually offered on a first-come, first served bases. Please note that the housing office cannot guarantee availability if all rooms are already occupied. •Work & Student students will follow the same procedure as other students (application period, payment deadline, etc.) if they are planning to apply for break housing at IGC.
