The Opportunity
As an Audit Junior, you'll be joining the first steps of a rewarding career in accountancy and audit. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience supporting a wide range of clients, learning how businesses operate and helping to ensure their financial information is accurate and reliable. What You'll Be Doing
As our Audit Junior, you'll be responsible for:
Checking a client's financial information, purchase and sales invoicesControls review and walkthrough testingCalculating sample sizes, and choosing samples for audit testingChecking bank balances and bank statementsReviewing client payroll records for accuracyEnsure sound knowledge of a client and its industry by researching background of clients and other useful informationAttend stock takes at client sitesDevelop and apply technical knowledge gained from studies and on the job experience and suggest improvements to existing systems and processesRespond to client enquiries in line with company policyContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededDealing with general office admin and emails when required What We're Looking For

An interest in accounting and studying for an accountancy qualification (ACA)Enthusiastic, self-motivated and self-responsibleAble to work quickly and accurately under pressureAn ability to work to deadlinesAn eye for detail to be able to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalismGood computer skills, outlook, excel and wordAn ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writingA proactive and solutions-focused approachA commitment to delivering excellent client service Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our values, enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about delivering great results.
