Inova Well is looking for Massage Therapist to join our team. This role is PRN, Days Vary, Monday-Saturday with varying hours including evening shifts Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Massage Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures a clean and orderly work area.

• Greets/escorts patients to proper treatment areas in a timely manner.

• Performs therapeutic massages to patients in the physical therapy clinic. • Cleans mats, tables, and equipment, per facility standards, prior to massages.

• Adheres to department policies regarding timeframe, form, and content of written daily notes.

• Demonstrates collaboration in communication with team members and is open to feedback and receptive to change.

• Selects evaluation and treatment methods appropriate for the diagnosis, age group, and patients' physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans. Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of massage treatment techniques such as soft/deep tissue massage, effleurage, petrissage, myofascial release and trigger point release techniques.

• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent • Experience: 200 clinical hours and 500 training hours from an accredited massage institute • Certifications: Certification from an accredited massage institute, BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start. • Licensed: Virginia Licensed Massage Therapist Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of massage therapist experience

• Prenatal and post-partum massage therapy experience
