About this role
Job summary You'll support people who need urgent care overnight, helping them stay safe and well at home. You'll be part of the Out of Hours Nursing and Conditions Team, working closely with nurses to deliver timely, compassionate care. You'll help reduce unnecessary hospital visits and give reassurance during busy night shifts. This role is for 23 hours per week, with shifts between 8pm and 8am, offering a consistent overnight working pattern.
Main duties of the job What you'll do:
Support patients with personal care, comfort and basic clinical tasks Assist nurses with observations, care plans and visits Record clear, accurate information using digital systems Respond to calls and provide calm, practical support Work as part of a team to deliver safe, high-quality care What we're looking for: A caring, respectful approach and good communication skills Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing situations Experience in care or a strong willingness to learn Basic IT skills and attention to detail A team-focused attitude, with training and support provided

Qualifications Essential
Level 2 or equivalent level of experience in Health and Social Care Hold Care Certificate or willingness to complete within induction period
Knowledge & Experience Essential
Knowledge of working in a health care environment Good understanding of basic IT skills
