Lakeside Industries is seeking a Scale House Attendant to support daily operations by accurately weighing incoming and outgoing commercial vehicles and maintaining essential documentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient site operations, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh and process inbound and outbound trucks using computerized scale systems Perform detailed data entry and maintain accurate transaction records Communicate clearly with drivers to provide directions and ensure compliance with site procedures Monitor and direct traffic flow to maintain safe and efficient operations Prepare daily operational and load reports Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Provide professional, courteous service to drivers, vendors, and visitors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Required Ability to effectively operate computerized systems and basic office equipment (printers, scanners) Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred High school diploma or GED Previous experience in related industry preferred No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided Core Competencies Safety-first mindset Attention to detail Communication and teamwork Customer focus Time management Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work performed in a scale house within an active industrial environment Frequent interaction with commercial vehicle traffic Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the shift Exposure to seasonal weather conditions Why Join Lakeside Industries At Lakeside, we are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
