POSITION: English/Language Arts Teacher (This is a vacancy due to a leave of absence) Furnace Brook Middle School STARTING DATE: Approximately September 14, 2026 until approximately February 12, SALARY: $140.00 per day for first 20 days; (Bachelors, Step 1) $323.46 per day starting 21st day ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY: Directly responsible to English Coordinator and Building Principal QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's preferred.
• MA DESE License: English (5-8) or (5-12).
• Understanding of middle school concepts and adolescents.
• Knowledge and application of frameworks.
• Work effectively with staff and parents.
