Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer within a mobile application environment.Extensive testing experience across iOS and Android platforms.Strong hands-on experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.Experience testing APIs and backend services supporting mobile applications.Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience testing AI-powered applications, conversational interfaces, or chatbots is highly desirable.Experience with Python and/or TypeScript is highly desirable.Experience testing voice-enabled applications is highly desirable.Experience within Ed-Tech, Education, SaaS, or product-led organisations is highly desirable.Exposure to AWS cloud environments is highly desirable.Experience with performance, security, or compliance testing is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Lead quality assurance activities across mobile applications, ensuring exceptional user experience on both iOS and Android platforms.Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tooling.Perform functional, regression, exploratory, performance, usability, and compliance testing.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation capabilities, and CI/CD practices.Provide guidance on mobile testing best practices, device compatibility, and platform-specific considerations. We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile QA Engineer to join a high-profile product engineering team developing innovative mobile learning applications. This is an initial 6-month contract offering £350 to £400 per day, outside IR35, with a hybrid working model based in Stratford, London and an immediate start available.
