Event Welfare Services is recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to join our Welfare Team.
Working from our Welfare Hubs and Mobile Welfare Teams, youll help provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for thousands of people attending the Carnival.
Whether youre a student, healthcare professional, community volunteer or simply someone who enjoys helping others, wed love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
What youll be doing
Supporting vulnerable and distressed attendeesProviding welfare and reassuranceAssisting at our Welfare HubsSupporting our Mobile Welfare TeamsHelping reunite separated friends and familyPromoting a safe and inclusive environment
(No medical experience is required.)

Full training before the event
Volunteer uniform and ID
Meals and refreshments during your shift
Volunteer certificate and reference (on request)
Experience working alongside an experienced event welfare team
