About this role
Daily Requirements:
• Update the ABLLS-R, as needed .
• Develop the treatment plan, if applicable. Update as needed.
• Train the lead and Line Therapist(s) and parent(s)/ guardian(s) in the implementation of the ITP and data collection.
• Communicate with the lead and Line Therapist(s), APC, and parent(s)/guardian(s).
• Oversee the implementation of the ITP, ensure implementation is based on evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Monitor effectiveness.
• Document time worked in the AAP Online Database.
• Weekly Requirements:
The Interventionist is to visit the home approximately every other week.
• Work no more than 90 hours during the client's plan of care year.
• Oversee the implementation of evidence-based intervention strategies by the Lead and Line Therapists and the client's family.
• Ensure ongoing education of family members and key staff on strategies used in ABA that should be implemented in the treatment plan.
• Respond to concerns of family members and key staff regarding the treatment plan.
• Provide on-site monitoring of treatment effectiveness and implementation fidelity.
• Provide modification of the treatment plan and assessment information as necessary.
• Update ABLLS-R quarterly as well as Individual Treatment Plan.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or Special Education OR Must hold a certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
• Experience in ABA Therapy.
• Have a minimum two (2) years of experience developing/providing intensive intervention or overseeing the intensive intervention program for children with autism
