Please note this is a shift based role attracting a shift allowance of 5,628 We’re looking for a skilled and motivated B2 Engineer to join our Base Maintenance team. Working alongside the Shift Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, compliant and high‑quality aircraft maintenance, ensuring all operational and contractual requirements are met. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, supporting others, and operating in a fast‑paced maintenance environment while upholding the highest safety and airworthiness standards. As a B2 Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering safe, compliant and high‑quality aircraft maintenance within the Base Maintenance environment. Working closely with the Shift Manager, engineering colleagues and supporting functions, you will certify maintenance activities within your scope of authorisation and directly contribute to aircraft availability, operational performance and regulatory compliance. Technical Authority: Work within your scope of authorisation to certify complex aircraft maintenance tasks, applying your technical expertise in a highly regulated and safety‑critical environment. Collaboration & Exposure: Work closely with Technical Services, Planning, Quality and external partners, gaining valuable exposure beyond the shop floor and enhancing your wider engineering understanding. Variety & Challenge: Be involved in a wide range of base maintenance activities, including defect rectification, modifications and fault investigation, ensuring no two shifts are the same.
