Estimated Start: 08/10/2026 Location: River Ridge Middle School, 11646 Town Center Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34654 School Related Personnel - SRP Full-Time, Benefit Eligible JOB SUMMARY ESE Instructional Assistant to provide direct 1:1 support for a student who is blind/visually impaired. Responsibilities include assisting with navigation on campus, accessing instructional materials, and ensuring accommodations are implemented throughout the school day. This role requires strong communication skills, consistency, and the ability to follow student-specific support plans. Experience with visual impairment or assistive technology is preferred but not required. Knowledge of braille or experience with students who are visually impaired is preferred; however, not required. This is a full-time position aligned to the student's school day. Training will be provided. REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
• Associate degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field
• OR
• 60 semester hours of college/university level course work from an accredited institution
• OR
• Obtain qualifying score to pass the ParaPro Assessment
• All employees must satisfactorily complete any required trainings
• All employees must meet all mandated federal and state health requirements
