The Bensalem Township School District is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year at Bensalem High School. Bensalem Township School District proudly serves a supportive and diverse community through six elementary schools, two middle schools, and Bensalem High School. The Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging mathematics instruction that promotes student achievement and aligns with Pennsylvania Academic Standards. The successful candidate will create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to support student success. Qualifications Applicants must possess:
• A valid Pennsylvania Mathematics 7–12 Instructional Certificate.
• Knowledge of mathematics curriculum and instructional best practices.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Strong instructional planning, assessment, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development.
• Proficiency in the use of instructional technology and educational resources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, colleagues, and community members.
• The ability to work cooperatively, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain accurate student records.
