Long-Term Substitute Teacher – Biology The Bensalem Township School District has an opening for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher in Biology starting in October 2026 through the end of the school year. This position is located at Bensalem High School (Grades 9–12). Qualifications
• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Biology.
• Knowledge of content within the area of certification.
• Classroom and group management skills.
• Ability to effectively use instructional materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of child growth and development.
• Strong instructional skills.
• Strong planning skills.
• Strong human relations and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate interpersonal skills when dealing with students, staff, parents/guardians, community members, and educational agencies as related to the performance of the duties of the position.
• Ability to perform routine tasks cooperatively and adjust to interruptions, variables, or changes in standardized situations.
