The Acute Respiratory Unit on Wards 11a/b are looking for a dynamic and motivated, experienced Staff Nurse to join the team.
This vacancy is open to candidates who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse, have proven post registration experience as well as knowledge of working within respiratory.
ARCU is a 40 bedded mixed sex ward caring for Respiratory, ENT and General Medical patients, delivering higher level care such as Non Invasive Ventilation, Tracheostomy and laryngectomy care. Hi flow oxygen and patients with chest drains. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge.
Main duties of the job
Plan, deliver and evaluate care to a group of patients. Maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues and service users.
Administration of medications in line with NMC guidance.
Undertaken clinical skills such as physiological observations, ECG, Venepuncture, Cannulation, urinary catheterisation, capillary blood gas monitoring.
