Main duties of the job

Community Diagnostic Pathway Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Pathway Coordinator to work within the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at QVH. This role will be a key point of contact and coordination for all CDC patients.

This important role will need to work closely with the QVH colleagues to ensure the trust is following diagnostic pathways effectively and that patients progress through their pathway with minimal delay.

The successful candidate should have experience of working in healthcare, a good understanding of diagnostic waiting times and be willing to embrace the challenges of ensuring patients are following the optimal pathway during their care.

Person Specification

Qualification Essential

NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of knowledge and experience of working in an NHS environment

Experience Essential

Data collection, patient pathway tracking and understanding of pathways for diagnostics

Desirable

Experience of working within healthcare setting

Knowledge Essential

Ability to use a variety of databases to collect and provide complex information

Skills Essential

Good communication skills with a wide variety of individuals
