Job SummaryYou will serve as a Maintenance Management Specialist in the MRO Production Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Participating in the preventative maintenance planning, development, coordination, improvement, and implementation of procedures governing preventative maintenance of ground support equipment necessary to the mission; (2) Analyzing and reviewing a variety of standard management reports such as aircraft schedules, materials lists, and calibration reports to develop a provisioning plan that supports Integrated Product Team (IPT) operations; (3) Coordinating and managing assigned Integrated Product Team (IPT) hazardous waste and ensuring compliance with Navy policy, federal, state, and local hazardous waste and air emission rules and regulations; (4) Maintaining calibration records on all assigned IPT tools and equipment and ensuring each of them meet calibration due dates; and (5) Using statistical methods such as trends and forecasts for developing graphs and charts to reflect discrepancies in planned ground support equipment maintenance programs. Major DutiesYou will maintain liaison with other agency activities and contractors concerning capabilities, policies, plans, and other matters affecting the ground support equipment in the assigned Integrated Product Team (IPT).You will conduct meetings and briefings to discuss problems and arrive at agreement on solutions, or to inform or make recommendations to management.You will coordinate special projects with other Integrated Product Teams and staff personnel as well as determine and take necessary action to prevent ground support equipment problems.You will reconstruct past performance data and charts as required by management, along with maintaining inventory, accountability, and control of the agency ground support equipment per local and higher-level authority.You will maintain actual Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for hazardous material stored on site and ensure all hazardous waste streams are identified.You will coordinate and manage the Calibration Program for the assigned Integrated Product Team, as well as maintaining calibration records on all the assigned tools and equipment.
