Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the DIGITAL ANALYTICS INF & TECH ADV GROUP, INFRASTRUCTURE SAFETY & ENVIRO DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Providing progressive team leadership within a multidisciplinary technical environment, including delivering integrated, end-to-end oversight across both the design and construction phases of complex projects; 2) Facilitating collaboration and resolving complex technical conflicts between design teams, contractors, and end-users to mitigate risk and maintain project momentum; 3) Managing day-to-day personnel operations by planning and assigning work, delivering performance feedback, and resolving minor employee grievances; 4) Managing and executing administrative approvals such as timekeeping, travel orders, training requests, and leave requests; 5) Analyzing operational metrics and programmatic data to develop strategic recommendations and preparing high-level executive briefings; and 6) Acting with full authority as the primary liaison to key mission partners in the absence of executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable tasks. Major DutiesYou will distribute daily work assignments to subordinates based on established priorities, individual capabilities, and project difficulty to optimize workflow efficiency and increase production quality.You will deliver on-the-job instruction, counsel, and career development advice to team members, acting as the primary point of contact for routine administrative and work-related inquiries.You will participate in candidate interview panels and make recommendations to senior leadership regarding personnel actions, including appointments, promotions, or reassignments.You will research and resolve complex technical inquiries, review project work for accuracy, and assist in evaluating contractor performance against established quality criteria.You will identify employee training needs, recommend minor disciplinary actions when necessary, and ensure team adherence to all safety, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and anti-harassment policies.
