About this role

Job summary

Would you like an opportunity to join our exciting and innovative Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) service?

We are looking for an experienced team administrator who has worked in a similar senior admin role. They will provide effective and efficient administration support to the Single Point of Entry (SPOE) team, where all the referrals are managed and processed, and will contribute to the smooth functioning of the systems underpinning the service.

Main duties of the job

Based within a busy environment, the post holder will have responsibility for providing a confidential, professional, efficient and responsive administrative support service including supporting the lead, writing letters and producing basic reports.

Person Specification

Education/ Qualification/ Training Essential

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent Good standard of written and spoken English English GCSE or NVQ1

Knowledge & Skills Essential

Computer literacy and word processing skills (MSOffice Word) Good communication & interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively verbally & in writing Exercise own judgement when dealing with enquiries from patient, parents/carers or other professionals Data entry skills Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a pressured environment

Desirable

Knowledge of Patient Administration systems - RiO Other windows packages, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint & outlook. Also MS Teams Application of technology in the office, i.e. Email & networking An understanding of office procedures Understanding of hospital and/or social services Knowledge of the Data Protection Act & Caldicott Guardian

Experience Essential

Working In a Team Working as part of an administrative team for at least a year Basic Office Experience

Desirable

Experience in a health/mental health, education or social services environment. Experience of working in a culturally diverse area Working in a Multidisciplinary Health Team
