About this role

Are you a motivated people leader with a passion for operations, reconciliations, and continuous improvement? We're looking for an experienced Team Leader Reconciliations to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering critical reconciliation and transaction processing activities in a dynamic banking environment. You will be responsible for coaching and developing a team of reconciliation specialists while ensuring operational excellence, service delivery and risk management outcomes are achieved. Reporting to the Manager, Transaction Processing & Controls, you'll play a pivotal role in driving team performance, managing workflow priorities and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. What You'll Do

• Empower and develop a team of approximately 10 employees.

• Manage daily workflow allocation and resource planning.

• Continuous Improvement & Change through championing process optimisation and operational efficiencies

• Foster a strong risk and compliance culture through identifying, assessing and remediating operational risks.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience leading operational or reconciliation teams within banking or financial services.

• Strong finance and accounting knowledge.

• Proven ability to manage performance, develop talent and build engaged teams.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated success in driving process improvement and operational efficiency.

• Sound understanding of risk, controls and compliance obligations
