Here is what the job entails As our Senior Manager for IT Operations, you will lead our second-line organization and help shape a newly established IT Operations team as part of an ITIL-based reorganization. You will drive service quality across Digital Workplace, Core Infrastructure, Manufacturing IT, and Identity & Access. Owning four ITIL processes, you will ensure efficient incident resolution, safe change implementation, stable business-critical systems, and performance management through SLAs, KPIs, and dashboards. More specifically, you will be: Defining and executing the IT Operations strategy, operating model, and on-call setup across four service domains Leading and developing operational specialists across locations and cultures Ensuring efficient incident handling, reliable changes, and proactive monitoring Driving stability, automation, and continuous improvement across operations and support processes. Partnering with Service Desk and Infrastructure Engineering to ensure smooth escalation paths and a clear run-versus-build boundary. This is your opportunity to establish and lead a dedicated, international operations team and turn day-to-day IT operations into a consistently stable and high-quality experience across a growing global organization. You should expect approximately 5-10 anual travel days in this position, including visits to our sites and production facilities. Meet your future team With a reference to our Director, Infrastructure & IT Operations, you will lead the operational specialists who keep Kamstrup’s digital workplace, core infrastructure, manufacturing IT, and identity & access services running. The team is being formed from our existing specialist teams in Denmark and Spain as part of the new organization, so you will have a unique chance to shape roles, ways of working, and culture from the start. You motivate and develop teams to leverage modern IT tools and automation, driving change through collaboration and shared goals. With a structured, analytical approach and strong communication and problem-solving skills, you are ready to ensure stable and efficient IT operations. In order to succeed, we imagine that you: Experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, processes, and external vendors Proven ability to define, measure, and manage SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs to ensure service quality and stability Leadership experience in global, cross-cultural technical teams Strong knowledge of core infrastructure, cloud, digital workplace, IAM, and/or manufacturing/OT IT Experience with ITIL-based operations, particularly Problem, Change, Monitoring & Event, and Service Level Management As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English.
