Job summary Open to Newly Qualified or Less Experienced Applicants (Annex 21 Pathway) While this post is advertised at Band 5, we warmly welcome applications from candidates who may not yet meet all Band 5 competencies. Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

NVQ 3, BTEC/SCOTEC or City & Guilds in mechanical engineering or equivalent workshop experience in manufacturing

Desirable

A record of qualifications achieved

Experience Essential

Previous experience of working in prosthetic manufacture

Desirable

A record / portfolio of experience in prosthetic manufacture.

Skills and attributes Essential

Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively

Knowledge Essential

Competent to work safely with all workshop machinery and equipment with a knowledge and understanding of health & safety requirements.

Desirable

Evidence re understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment.
