About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ED RN is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute illness, injury, or medical emergencies. Working in a fast-paced environment, the RN utilizes critical thinking, clinical expertise, and sound judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications, intravenous therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Respond rapidly to emergency situations, including codes, trauma activations, and critical care interventions. Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary departments, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR). Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards. Provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism in high-stress situations.
