This is a shift based role attracting a shift allowance of £5,628 Please note we reserve the right to close the application due to applicant demand We are looking for a skilled Technician to join our Base Maintenance team. In this role, you will carry out a range of scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks, ensuring all work meets regulatory and company airworthiness standards. Working closely with Certifying Engineers and the Shift Manager, you will play a vital part in supporting safe, efficient operations and ensuring our customer commitments are met. Why AirTanker? By carrying out daily maintenance tasks, supporting fault investigations, and assisting Certifying Engineers across our base maintenance environment, you will directly contribute to the reliability, performance, and mission‑critical capability of our fleet. Technical Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience performing a range of aircraft maintenance tasks, including component changes, structural repairs, and wiring work under the guidance of senior technicians and Certifying Staff. Regulatory Expertise: Develop knowledge of CAA Part 145 regulations, quality procedures, safety practices, and compliance standards essential within the aviation industry. Operational Experience: Work in a live, high-paced Base Maintenance environment that exposes you to real operational pressures, aircraft turnarounds, and AOG recovery support.
