Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for proven experience as a Product Owner within SAP environments.We need strong technical and functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA.We need strong technical and functional expertise in SAP BW.We need strong technical and functional expertise in SAP BPC and/or SAC planning models.We need experience working across finance processes and SAP integration points.We need a strong track record of delivering SAP system enhancements, upgrades, and transformation programmes.We need experience supporting or contributing to BPC to SAC transitions.We need strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across complex organisational structures.We need experience working in Agile / Scrum environments, managing backlogs and delivering iteratively.We need the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.We need comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments.We need strong leadership capability, with experience coaching and developing teams.Experience within Higher Education or Public Sector environments would be desirable.Awareness of SAP cloud strategy, including Public vs Private Cloud, would be desirable.Understanding of finance process standardisation and system-driven controls would be desirable. Responsibilities: We own the full product lifecycle for SAP Finance systems, ensuring solutions are scalable, controlled, and aligned to business priorities.We lead and develop a team responsible for finance systems stability, optimisation, and continuous improvement.We drive prioritisation and delivery of system enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.We manage and refine the product backlog, developing user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.We work collaboratively with stakeholders to translate business needs into structured system solutions.We lead UAT, release management, and training, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing support.We act as a change agent, promoting a test-and-learn approach and supporting business transformation.We collaborate with Digital Services on architecture, SAP S/4HANA, and cloud strategy decisions.We drive process standardisation, reducing manual workarounds and improving efficiency.We act as an escalation point for system priorities, integration challenges, and conflicting requirements.
