Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for 3-5 years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst within Agile software delivery environments.We need strong experience writing high-quality user stories and clear, testable acceptance criteria.We need hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning and story tracking.We need a solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams.We need experience analysing business processes and producing clear as-is and to-be workflow documentation.We need excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.We need a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with a passion for enabling successful software delivery.Desirable: experience writing Gherkin scenarios and working within Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) environments.Desirable: familiarity with QA automation concepts and tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cucumber.Desirable: experience supporting software engineering, digital transformation or systems integration projects.Desirable: previous experience working within fast-paced Agile environments where collaboration and continuous improvement are key. Responsibilities: We work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear, well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.We own and refine the product backlog in Azure DevOps, ensuring work is prioritised, sprint-ready and aligned with business objectives.We facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint reviews.We analyse and map current and future business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.We collaborate with developers and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguity throughout the delivery lifecycle.We create clear acceptance criteria, including Gherkin scenarios where appropriate, to support Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).We support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered functionality meets agreed business requirements.We maintain requirements traceability, track progress and manage dependencies across delivery workstreams.We champion a delivery-first approach, helping the team focus on outcomes rather than excessive documentation.
