Requirements: We require strong experience designing and governing enterprise infrastructure across on-prem data centre and AWS cloud environments.We require experience with compute platforms including AIX, Linux (RHEL), and Windows.We require hands-on experience with VMware virtualization, including ESXi and vCenter.We require experience with storage technologies such as SAN/NAS and backup solutions.We require solid networking knowledge, including Cisco routing and switching across data centre and WAN environments, as well as load balancers such as NetScaler.We require AWS cloud architecture experience, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and IAM.We require networking experience in AWS, including Transit Gateway and Direct Connect.We require security expertise across AWS, including IAM, WAF, and Shield.We require experience designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.We require hybrid architecture experience, including site-to-site VPN, Direct Connect, multi-data-centre and cloud DR strategy, and data migration and modernization.We require DevOps and automation experience, including Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.We require scripting experience with Python and Bash.We require CI/CD experience with Jenkins or Git pipelines.We require container experience with Docker and Kubernetes, with EKS preferred.We require monitoring and observability experience with CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and enterprise tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics. We are hiring an Infrastructure Architect for a hybrid role based in Warwick, with one day per week in the office. The contract is 3 months with the possibility of extension to 1 year or more, and the rate is £375 per day inside IR35. This is a key role in our hybrid transformation programme, where we are integrating legacy systems with cloud-native architectures across our on-prem data centre and AWS environment.
