Salary: £60,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements: Experience using data analysis tools and delivering data analysis in a technology or IT functionProven experience in a Data Analyst or hybrid Data and Business Analyst role within financial servicesStrong securitisation and structured finance knowledge, including asset classes, transaction lifecycles, and associated data flowsAdvanced SQL and Excel skills, with the ability to analyse, reconcile, and interpret large and complex datasetsExperience translating business needs into data requirements and technology solutionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data quality, root cause analysis, and process improvementExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teamsExperience coaching or mentoring colleagues and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environment Responsibilities: Manage the analysis of complex bank, franchise, or function data to identify business issues and opportunitiesProvide analytical input to help develop and implement processes and resolve problems across the bankExtract, store, manipulate, process, and analyse data; develop and perform standard queries to ensure data quality and identify inconsistencies and missing dataPartner with Securitisation, Treasury, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions and requirementsAnalyse complex securitisation data using SQL and Excel to identify trends, investigate issues, and generate actionable insightsGather, document, and validate business and data requirements to support technology change and regulatory initiativesPerform data profiling, mapping, lineage, and quality analysis to improve data accuracy and governanceCollaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams throughout design, testing, and implementationProduce reporting, management information, and analytical outputs to support decision-making and operational performanceMentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement Technologies: ExcelSupportSQL More:
