Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.6+ years of experience in network administration or engineering.Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.Hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring tools.Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS).Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.Strong problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach. Responsibilities: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network hardware, software, and connections to ensure optimal performance.Configure and deploy switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers in line with architecture standards.Work with architects, security, and cloud teams to implement integrated, secure, and scalable solutions.Identify and resolve network bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and ensure high availability.Maintain detailed network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration standards.Support enforcement of security protocols, patch management, and compliance with global frameworks.Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to network design and operations.
